Dr. Sanjay Prakash Dhangar is a distinguished urologist, academician, and researcher with extensive experience in clinical urology and surgical sciences. He completed his MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sewagram, Wardha (2005), followed by postgraduate training from Asopa Hospital and Research Center, Agra (2009). He pursued his super-specialization in Urology from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune (2015).
He currently serves as Clinical Head of the Department of Urology at Bharati Hospital & Research Center, BVU, Pune. He is also certified in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, reflecting his interest in integrating advanced technologies into modern clinical practice.
Dr. Dhangar holds numerous prestigious fellowships and professional distinctions, including Fellow Robotic Surgeon, FACS (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons), FMAS (Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery), and FAIS (Fellowship of the Association of Indian Surgeons). He also holds several additional academic credentials, including MNAMS, FIAMR, FSASS, CC IPR (FICCI), MIARC, FIARA, FLMINSC, FMRC, and RFIOASD.

An accomplished academician, Dr. Dhangar has published more than 60 research articles, case reports, review articles, and editorials in national and international journals. He has authored several books, including New Insights on Urology and Urological Research (SP’z Series Part I, II & III), Contemporary Urology: Precision Diagnostics, Regenerative Therapies, Minimally Invasive Surgical Advances & Artificial Intelligence in Urology, and Common Drugs in Urology Practice.
He has also contributed chapters on topics such as varicocele, artificial intelligence in healthcare, kidney stone disease, and sustainable healthcare practices. He has served as an editor for academic works, including Futuristic Trends in Medical Sciences, and is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Case Reports and Images in Urology and the World Journal of Advance Pharmaceutical Science. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial board of several urology and reproductive medicine journals.
Dr. Dhangar holds associate memberships in more than 50 national and international surgical, urological, scientific, and professional organizations.
With vast clinical experience, he has performed more than 20,000 urological procedures, including advanced endourological surgeries (RIRS, HoLEP, ThuLEP), pediatric and geriatric urology, laparoscopic and robotic procedures, microsurgery, andrology, uro-oncology, and open urological surgeries. His surgical experience continues to expand with ongoing clinical practice.
