Dr. Vinayak J. Shenage

Dr. Vinayak J. Shenage is an accomplished Cancer Surgeon and academician with extensive experience in surgical oncology and advanced minimally invasive procedures. He completed his MBBS from Rural Medical College, Loni (Pune University), followed by DNB in General Surgery from Poona Hospital and Research Centre, Pune, where he received training in advanced laparoscopy, trauma, and complex surgical procedures under expert guidance.
He further advanced his surgical expertise at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, one of India’s premier oncology centers, where he served as Senior Resident and Senior Research Fellow for over four years. During this period, he gained comprehensive experience across multiple oncological specialties, including head and neck, breast, thoracic, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancer surgeries, along with palliative care and multidisciplinary cancer management.
Dr. Shenage holds multiple fellowships, including FIAEGS, FALS (Robotics), and FARIS in Robotic Surgery, reflecting his proficiency in laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. He is currently pursuing training in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, demonstrating his commitment to integrating emerging technologies into clinical practice.
Since 2014, he has been serving as Consultant Cancer Surgeon and Professor & Head of Unit at SMBT IMS & RC, Nashik. He has performed over 5,000 cancer surgeries, with expertise spanning complex oncological resections, reconstructive procedures, and minimally invasive techniques.
