Dr. Pratibha Kale is an Additional Professor in Clinical Microbiology at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi. She also serves as Member Secretary of the Infection Control Committee and Institute Biosafety Committee, and holds the position of Associate Dean for Cultural and Social Initiatives. With over a decade of experience in clinical microbiology, infectious diseases, and transplant-related infections, she has played a significant role in advancing infection diagnostics and patient safety in liver disease settings.
She completed her MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and pursued her MD in Microbiology from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. She further obtained DNB in Microbiology and cleared FRCPath (Part 1) from the Royal College of Pathologists, UK.
